CES 2021 is currently ongoing and a lot of brands are currently unveiling newest devices. For Alcatel, it is a brand new smartphones dubbed as Alcatel 3L (2021), Alcatel 1S (2021), and Alcatel 1L (2021).
All the three phones are powered by MediaTek’s Helio A25 chipset, pack multi-cam setups and feature waterdrop notch displays. And of cause, they are budget friendly smartphones.
Alcatel 3L (2021)
The Alcatel 3L comes in black and blue colors and will retail for €149 starting March. The Alcatel 3L features a 6.52-inch LCD with FHD+ resolution and an 8MP selfie cam. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is further expandable via microSD cards.
It comes with a 48MP primary camera alongside two 2MP modules for macro shots and depth data. There’s also a convenient rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
It is housed by a 4,000 mAh battery with 10W charging over micro-USB, but on the software side, you get the latest Android 11.
Alcatel 1S (2021)
the Alcatel 1S features a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop-style notch, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 88.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. It supports split screen mode to enable usage of multiple apps simultaneously.
Alcatel 1S (2021) is powered by an octa-core processor, and has a triple rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel main camera, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
It runs Android 11 out of the box, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and a 4,000 mAh battery.
It will retail for €109 starting February.
Alcatel 1L (2021)
The Alcatel 1L is cheaper and smaller, it runs on Android 11 (Go Edition) and features a comparatively small 6.1-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop-style notch, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 86 percent screen-to-body ratio.
It is powered by a multi-core processor paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB. It is housed by a battery capacity of 3,000 mAh battery.
Pricing begins at $135 in the US.
Alcatel 1T 7 Wi-Fi
Alongside these 3 smartphones launched by Alcatel is a portable tablet called Alcatel 1T 7 Wi-Fi. No specification yet but the 16GB storage version will be priced at €59, and 32GB storage version will be priced at €69.
