How to Know if Your Smartphone Supports 4G LTE

We know the next big thing in mobile technology is 5Gnetwork in which Nokia is already working on alongside T-mobile. But for now,
let us rock 4G LTE whose m0bile data standard is 5 times faster than 3G and
twice as fast at 3G+. That means the experience of using your smartphone will
seem like your phone is faster than you.

One of the most annoying thing some of you might likely face
is to think that your smartphone is 4G supported only to discover that it is
100% 3G Mobile phone.
How Do I know That My Mobile is 4G Supported?
With 4G mobile networks in mind, it’s easy to know if your
smartphone supports the standard. On Android smartphones, Blackberry, iPhones
and Windows mobile devices.
Android
For Android Users, go to settings >> Network settings >>
mobile network. It should give you a dropdown menu of mobile standards such as
2G, 3G or LTE (4G). If you don’t see 4G or LTE, then your smartphone doesn’t
support the standard.
iPhone
On the iPhone, go to Settings > General > cellular
> Enable 4G LTE.
Windows
On Windows Phone, go to Settings > Celluar + Sim >
Highest connection speed and check if LTE is part of the options.
Blackberry
Go to settings>>Network and Connection>>Mobile
Network>> Network mode and you’ll see 4G&3G&2G. however, if you
are using Blackberry Q5 and below, you won’t get 4G network services.
Once you’ve selected LTE and you’ve on a 4G network, the
“LTE” symbol will appear on the phone status bar replacing either “3G”, “H” or
“2G” symbols.

    • Not perfectly okay oooooo
because you dont know the type of band and frequency the phone carries.
TAKE YOUR 4G SIM TO THE STORE YOU ARE BUYING THE PHONE AND DONT LET THEM TELL YOU THERE SERVICE ARE NOT THERE THATS WHY THE SIGNAL IS NOT COMING UP.
I knew someone that take his 3G phone to glo office and they sold the 3G sim to him and the so called engr there battle with the phone and later tell my friend maybe the signal is not that strong around there at the moment so he should go home and gave him assurance the signal will surely come up later.
After my friend got home he told me all what happen, i collect the phone and check the phone specs online, i found out that the phone is compatible with all our network 3G network here in Nigeria.
Such phone can only work in Nigeria ONLY with 2G network.
I still have one of such phone with me.
SO OPEN YOUR EYES WELLA OR ENTER ONE CHANCE BRT

    • This post is not about band, it is about 4g. As you can see the written didn't make mention of any call band. Alot of people can't different if their phone is 3g or 4g.

So if you want to know the band, I think your comment belongs to the previous post.
