Microsoft Unveils Surface Duo, Foldable Smartphone with Dual Screen

Microsoft has unveiled a new foldable phone code named Surface duo, and it will come preloaded with Android operating system with yet to be revealed impressive specifications.

Microsoft Surface duo features dual 5.6-inch screens that unfold into an 8.3-inch tablet. You can make phone calls and the 360° hinge lets you use it in a variety of modes. The Surface Duo comes with Google Play Store and runs Microsoft Launcher.

The Surface Duo will run on Android, as opposed to Microsoft’s previous smartphones, which infamously used Microsoft’s own mobile operating system.

By using Android, the Surface Duo will be able to run popular apps from the Google Play Store such as Facebook and WhatsApp.

The device is expected to be launched in 2020. No specifications have been released for the Surface Duo.
