The long awaited Infinix Hot 9, successor to Infinix Hot 8 has been launched in Indonesia and just like it was earlier teased, it comes with cool specifications.
The budget smartphone succeeds the Infinix Hot 8 that was launched in 2019 and comes with major upgrades in terms of the processor and the rear cameras.
Infinix Hot 9 Highlight Specifications
Infinix Hot 9 smartphone features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD punch-hole display that offers HD+ resolution. The back panel of the smartphone is seemingly made from a polycarbonate material and in comparison to its predecessor the Infinix Hot 8, the latest Infinix Hot 9 comes with an upgraded processor. It is powered by 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio A25 octa-core SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space.
The internal storage capacity of the Infinix Hot 9 can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.
Looking at the cameras, the device comes with a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 16MP primary camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP secondary macro lens, and a 2MP low-light tertiary lens. The front camera houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera with AI features.
For connectivity, this smartphone features dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro USB port.
The phone runs on the Android 10-based XOS 6.0 and packs 5000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging. There’s also a fingerprint scanner right next to the rear camera setup.
Other features includes; Face Unlock, AR Emoji, AR stickers, and DTS Audio Technology.
It is priced at Rp 1,699,000 (approx. $104)
At the moment, the smartphone is only available in Indonesia, with no information yet on when it will be available globally.
