Redmi has launched a new device dubbed has the Redmi 11 Prime and Redmi 11 Prime 5G and Redmi A1 smartphones, and it comes with entry level specifications.
The Redmi 11 Prime and Redmi 11 Prime 5G comes with a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate Adaptive Sync display, 240Hz touch sampling rate and have an 8-megapixel camera on the front, inside the notch.
The Redmi 11 Prime is powered by MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, and the 5G model is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and has support for 7 5G bands. It runs Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top.
The phones have flat sides, feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and come with a 50MP rear camera along with a 2MP depth sensor, but the 4G model comes with an additional 2MP macro camera. Both of the devices comes with a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
Redmi A1
The Redmi A1 takes after the Xiaomi Mi A1 of yesteryear, only it tries to fit within a much more conservative budget. There is no MIUI here, the Redmi A1 runs a clean Android 12.
The Redmi A1 has a leathery finish on the back, and many assume leather to be a premium texture, even if the panel is actually plastic. On the inside, we have a Helio A22 chipset, coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. There is also a MicroSD slot for up to 512GB more.

The price of the Redmi A1 is INR6,499, which is about $80. While the Redmi 11 Prime 5G is offered in Thunder Black, Chrome Silver, and Meadow Green colors. The first sale is scheduled for September 9 and prices are INR12,999 ($160) and INR14,999 ($185) for the two available storage options.
