After Facebook owner, Zuckerberg survives 10 hours of terrific questioning; WhatsApp has now posted a new FAQ section designed for WhatsApp business users.
WhatsApp reassured its users that their data and communications are secured with end-to-end encryption; nobody in between can read messages and listens to calls – not even WhatsApp itself.
The updated WhatsApp FAQ states that “All WhatsApp messages and calls are secured with end-to-end encryption. This ensures only you and the person you’re communicating with can read your messages or listen to your calls, and nobody in between, not even WhatsApp,”
While the messages being delivered to businesses are end-to-end encrypted, it is worth noting here that WhatsApp doesn’t ensure the privacy of the communications that take place between businesses and users.
In other words, when you contact a business, there are chances that your messages will be seen by several people in that business.
10 hours what.. It must have been a very intense session. Well i saw this coming from what’sapp, they needed to communicate and assure their users to gain their confidence. Good move.
This is at least a relief to some of us who use whatsapp alot especially in sending sensitive materials

This is their trying time. I hope they get to sort it out. I believe if facebook is insecure, whatsapp will follow suit.
