Redmi Pad has been launched, the first ever tablet from the Xiaomi sub-brand. The company has announced other products including the Xiaomi 12T series, Redmi Buds 4 Pro and more at the event.
Redmi Pad brings a 10.6-inch LCD display with a 1200 x 2000 px resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is flanked by four speakers with Dolby Atmos tuning. The tablet is equipped with MediaTek’s Helio G99 chipset and can be configured with 3/4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB storage.
There’s a pair of 8MP cameras on the slate with the one on the front sporting a 105° field of view with FocusFrame – which tracks your movement during video calls. Xiaomi also packed an 8,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
The software side is covered by Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top and a guarantee for 3 years of software support and 2 Android version updates.
On the connectivity front, Redmi Pad offers features like dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB-C port.
The Redmi Pad is offered in Mint Grey, Graphite Grey, and Moonlight Silver colours. It starts at EUR 279 (~RMB 1,969) for the base 3GB + 64GB variant.
