You Can Now Buy a 400GB microSD card

Today Western Digital introduced its first SanDisk Ultra
microSDXC UHS-I card with 400 GB capacity. this just happens to be the largest-capacity microSD card
available on the market, and it comes at a very sacrificial price.

According to WD, over 150 billion apps are expected to be
installed in 2017, and with the new microSD, users will be able to transfer
files upto 100MB/s speed and goes as SDXC UHS-I class of a card. It is rated as
App Performance Class A1, a rating that signifies that the card can run apps as
well.
The company also introduced the SanDisk iXpand Base for
iPhones that enables Apple users to automatically back up files and photos on
the charger/portable hard drive.
The newly introduced 400GB Micro SDcard comes with 10yrs
warranty and will be priced at $250. The question is, are you willing to spend
$250 dollar to get this sdcard?

    • You don't need a hard disk since this can slot in directly into ur phone. It is extremely userful. No more " you don't have enough space on your android bla bla bla..

    • Funny enough, most android users don't have issues with microSD memory. It's the phone memory that is the bone of contention. I still don't see the usefulness of this type of card.

    • @iWrite, I know of Samsung Galaxy 8, it can confidently take in 400GB sdcard without lagging. The newly launched Sony Xperiz XZ1 can take that too. Look, you only need hard disk for computers and not for phone.
