HMD Global has just launched a new device Nokia XR20, the company’s latest rugged smartphone with impressive specifications
First off, it is a waterproof phone (IP68) with a sleek casing that is made to the MIL-STD-810H military standard, has 1.5m drop protection, can be submerged to depths of 1.5m for 30 minutes.
The XR20 is powered by a Snapdragon 480 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The device is built around a 6.67-inch 1080 x 2400px IPS display protected by a sheet of Gorilla Glass Victus. The touchscreen can work with gloves and wet hands.
The camera department consists of a 48MP rear shooter with f/1.8 aperture, Zeiss-branded optics and is joined by a 13MP ultrawide camera with fairly wide 123-degree field of view and f/2.4 aperture. The front houses an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0.
The phone has a 4,630 mAh battery supporting up to 18W wired charging and up to 15W wireless Qi charging.
