For the past few months, we’ve been seeing different 4G smartphone releases from infinix mobility but no 5G smartphone in sight. But the company has taken a U-turn, and now planning to release its first-ever 5G smartphone.
We’ve got firsthand leak information about some of the key specifications of the Infinix 5G devices from leak star Tech Arena24 and the specs are quite impressing.
Specs and Design
According to reports, the Infinix Zero 5G will be the company’s first 5G smartphone. The model number will be X6815 and it will be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 900 5G SoC. We can also expect to see the device come with 6GB + 128GB onboard storage powered by Android 11 out of the box.
This is quite a significant bump up in horsepower compared to their older smartphones. Not only that, the YouTuber has claimed that the smartphone will sport a 120Hz Super AMOLED display, which, if true, would also make it stand apart from the competition.
The Infinix Zero 5G will have a triple camera setup, which is arranged in a square-shaped module and is very reminiscent of the OPPO Find X3 Pro’s camera design. It is accompanied by two flash modules that may be for warm and cool light adjustment. The camera details have not yet been revealed at the time of publishing.

As expected, the smartphone will likely be a midrange device… The device is expected to launch in December 2021. We await more information on or before the launch of this first-ever 5G smartphone from infinixmobility.
