Xiaomi brand has decided to turn its back on some of the Redmi Note series which means that these series will no longer receive an upgrade because they have reached the end of life. If you are using Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, and Redmi GO, your smartphone will no longer receive an update.
This means that you’ll no longer be getting security and MIUI interface updates, and most importantly, Android platform updates. So, you’ll be stuck on the version of Android on your device forever.
