Facebook Celebrates 1 Billion Active Users

Facebook Messenger can  now confidently say that it has earned
the badge that gives it access to this exclusive circle  of 1 Billion monthly active users.

If you recall that Whatsapp, the other Facebook-owned chat
service, got to 1 Billion monthly active users several months ago, in February,
and now it’s in house rival has join the club of 1 Billion active users monthly.
Either way, both messengers benefit the company.
To celebrate, Facebook Messenger has made this video
and is adding a small floating balloon animation whenever you send a
balloon emoji to someone on the service.

  1. Congrats to Mark Zuckerberg and to the entire Facebook team.

Facebook didn't allow complacency to creep in, as they never stopped releasing new features like; using video clips as dp, Facebook camera, using videos as comment replies and many more to come (like face-swap, just like snapchat)

This is a very well deserved result. Atleast the messenger users are enjoying end-to-end message encryption. Wish them them the best.

    facebook features!
