Xiaomi Black Shark helo is the successor to Black shark gaming phone launched in April this year. The main difference between the two generations is the screen. The new Black Shark Helo swaps the LCD panel for an AMOLED one but still notch-less.

Xiaomi Black Shark Helo features a 6.01-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with HDR support even in games with independent image processing chip. It’s powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC with up to 10GB RAM plus 256GB onboard storage.
It has two liquid cooling pipes to keep the phone cool when gaming by reducing the CPU’s core temperature by up to 12-degree, compared to 8-degree in the predecessor.
According to the specs sheet, we’ve got a 12MP + 20MP camera combo with the main 12MP sensor sitting behind a fast f/1.75 lens and featuring big 1.25μm pixels. The front-facing shooter delivers 20MP resolution and f/2.2 aperture.
There is a glowing RGB logo on the back with AI game lighting that changes depending on the game. It has a metal back shell that also combines 3D glass with condensed ridge line offering a three-dimensional look.
It also comes with a Gamer Studio app that lets you tweak the CPU, display, network, etc., so you can create different gaming profiles for each game. These profiles can even be shared via the “Shark Code” feature.
It has a dedicated two-stage SHARK key that provides immersive gaming experience. In addition to the standard detachable left gamepad like the predecessor, this has a right gamepad with a tochpad that can be controlled at the same time.
The Xiaomi Black Shark Helo is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 standard support.
