While we are still hoping our telecom provider will cut down data price during this lockdown period, Glo has introduced a Sunday data plan, and Airtel is giving Free 1GB Data to every subscriber that downloads its app.
Not too long ago, the Grandmaster of data Glo NG unveiled Glo 1GB for N100 usable at night and the validity is 5 days; and 7GB for N1500 and the validity is 7 days. It appears the network seems to be fast at night so you are going to enjoy it if you have some downloads to make.
However, the telecom provider has introduced a new data plan usable only on Sundays… it gives you 1.25GB for N200. It works exactly like every other data plans but the only drawback is the Sunday limitation.
How Do I Subscribe to Glo 1.25GB for N200
Dial *777#, and choose choose Night and weekend plans, scroll down to the plan of your choice and subscribe.
The validity of this plan is 1 day, which is Sundays only.
Dial *127*0# to check your data balance or go to his.glo.com
Airtel Free 1GB
Airtel, on the other hand, is dishing out free 1GB data plans to everyone who downloads its applications.

>>Register your Airtel SIM on the app,
>>A confirmation code will be sent to your Airtel line, use the code on the app and you are good to go.

Funny enough I downloaded the airtel app and 1GB was not given to me self..
It is a kind of scam by their ‘marketers’. I was also told to download My Airtel TV and will get 3GB from them which never came.
It is not a scam. You’ll get 1GB when you download the app for the first time using ur airtel number

No Data given to me and is almost twenty minute

Open the app, and you’ll be required to login. Once you login, you’ll see where to enter your otp code
