    • Hello friend,
If it refuses to accept an higher OS via windows anytime upgrade, then you'll have to manually upgrade it by running windows 8 or 10 OS on it.

Get either of the windows installations disk and manually install it. I guess you understand the process.

Before you do that, make sure you backed up all your files and document to a safe xternal disk.

If you are still confuse, kindly reply perhaps a link might help you out.

    • I guess your friend windows installation disk should be faulty. Get another windows 8 or 10 installation disk, set your system to bood from cd/dvd and every other thing should be simple.

Your system capacity is qualified for upgrade. Its your friend that is not getting it. Get another tech person to do it for you.

  2. I used to have an authentic Windows 8 (or which one was before 10?) which i upgraded to 10 (for free when it came out, if you remember Microsoft gave free updates then), now my system crashed and the said the hard drive(1 terabyte) was bad and had to be replaced (by the way can data from a "bad" hard drive be restored – even partially?), but the technician that replaced the hard drive installed a trial windows 10 for me, now I have an "Activate Windows…" permanent massage on the right bottom corner of my screen, please how can I activate for free?

    • Hello Jimngam,
Yes, every information from a damaged harddrive can be retrieve back with ease. Just go to a computer accessory store and tell then you want to buy hard drive case.

The case will enable you to use your hard drive as a hard disk, hence you'll see all your files, documents and pictures.

If you don't activate windows, within a specified period of time, you won't have access to your documents again on that system which will either result to you formating your PC again the second time or getting another system. Repeated formatting of system kills and its not recommended.

      My Advice,
RemovWAX currently doesn't work on windows 10 hence I'll have recommended it for you but go to a computer accessory store, and buy windows 10 disk, inside the disk, you should fine windows activator, either serial or the main activator, use it to activate your pc.

      Hope it helps.
