HTC U12+ is Now Official With Dual Camera, HDR10 Display and Snapdragon 845

HTC has been in a very tight corner but they seem to have put up a savior in the market dubbed HTC U12+.

HTC U12+ is the latest flagship addition, an upgrade to HTC U11+. It features a 6-inch Super LCD6 display supports HDR10 and DCI-P3. It has an 18:9 aspect ratio, no notch and a 1440 x 2280p resolution which translates to 537ppi.

The U12+ is made of glass and has a pressure sensitive frame, enabling Edge Sense 2. Gorilla Glass 5 protects the screen and the back.

It is powered by the  Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB onboard storage(expandable).

Camera wise, the device features dual rear camera (Primary – 12MP wide-angle, HTC UltraPixel 4  (1.4µm pixels, f/1.75), Secondary – 16MP telephoto (1µm pixels, f/2.6 aperture), UltraSpeed Autofocus 2, OIS, EIS, dual LED flash).

While we have dual front camera (8MP + 8MP sensor). The camera can shoot 4K videos at 60fps and 1080p at 240fps.

It runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box housed by 3500mAh battery juice.

  3. if HTC truly wants to compete in today’s market, this device is their ticket in terms of specs but the price… let’s just say they need to cut it
