Xiaomi has launched its Mi 9 smartphone at a special event in China. The smartphone boasts a number of impressive features, including a triple-lens main camera with a 48MP sensor and a 20MP front-facing selfie camera.
It has a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection and 90.7% screen to body ratio since it has 3.6mm small chin, making it 40% narrower than the Mi 8.
It is powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform with Game Turbo with real-time CPU/GPU/FPS monitoring, up to 8GB of RAM and runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10 on top.
Xiaomi also introduced 12GB RAM Transparent edition, which the company says it the world’s first 12GB RAM phone.
