NCC- Subscribers to Get 14 Days Grace to Roll-over Unused Data

Nigerian Telecommunication Commission said you are a King and
you deserve to get value for your money… enough of all this Telcos scamming their subscribers.

NCC said they are fighting to protect consumers from unfair
practices through availability of information and education to make informed
choices in the use of ICT services.
NCC issued telco providers
on special notice that they are currently monitoring user experience on issues
of poor reception, wrong billings and deductions, automatic roll over among
other issues and if they fail to improve services to the detriment of the
consumers, will face appropriate regulatory actions and sanctions.
Ncc issues directive to telcos for unused data.
NCC vow to issue a directive to the service providers to
give a 14 day window to the subscribers to enable them roll over their unused
data
, even if they do not renew on the date of expiration of the current
subscription. (In other words, you may have upto
45 days period before your unused data will be wiped out).
If you have issues with any Telecom provider, dial toll-free
customer care line 622
to lodge complaints to NCC about unsatisfactory
services of the telecom service providers.
