Xiaomi Redmi S2 With Face Unlock, Dual Camera Coming soon

The recently launched Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is the bomb but Xiaomi got something more in stock for Xiaomi lovers.

So far so good, Xiaomi has succeeded in launching Mi Mix 2s, Redmi note 5, MI Mix 6x, Redmi note 5 pro and Redmi 5. But rumor has it that another device is in work codename Redmi S2.

The firmware revealed that Redmi S2 will be featuring an 18:9 aspect ratio display that will support 720 x 1440 pixels resolution. The firmware files of the Redmi S2 with reference number msm8953 also reveal that it will be fueled by Snapdragon 625 mobile platform.

Xiaomi

The internal memory of the device will feature 16GB of storage and there are no details of the Ram capacity. It might likely come with 2GB/3GB of ram but we are not sure yet.

For the camera department, Redmi S2 will be featuring dual camera set up of 12MP+12MP rear and 5MP front facing camera. It will be coming with Android 8.1 oreo out of the box with MIUI 9 skin. Another interesting feature of this device is the supports for face unlock which every Xiaomi lovers wish to have on their smartphone.

Redmi S2 will be powered by 3080mAh battery capacity juice.
