Google to Launch Android P August 20th – Guess the name and…

Android P – If you are still using Android 4 Kitkat and Lollipop and you are not thinking of upgrading your OS anytime soon, then you shouldn’t be among those classified as Android users.

If you are still stalk with Android 6 Marshmallow and Android 7 nougat, then its time to upgrade to Android  8 oreo.

The good news is, Google will be officially introducing Android P August 20th and Google is also expected to officially announce the name the same date.

Highlights of Android P Features You Didn’t Know

Inline Photos and Smart Replies:

Screenshot editing: You can crop and draw on screenshots you capture. This has been a long time coming.

Zoom lens for text selection: Like iOS has had since forever, when you select text, on P you can get a nice magnified view of the area above your finger.

App Timer: Another step towards Digital Wellbeing is the App Timer feature which lets you set time limits on apps you use for a more extended period.

Wind Down: Many of us spend hours on our phones at night before we actually fall asleep. Wind Down will help you curb this habit by switching on Night Light and turning on the Do Not Disturb mode at your chosen bedtime.

Slices: ‘Slices’ is one of the best Android P features which come in handy at several places. It lets you perform basic application activities outside the app.

Android P Comes with Adaptive battery and many other features.

  1. I’m liking the features this andriod P has to over. Will be nice to see it roll in.. Guess guess.. Maybe PISTACHIO, that’s my guess name

  3. wow, really nice features on offer. the Slices feature is sounding a bit like Samsung’s Edge feature. for the name, I’m rooting for Android PARFAIT.
